The Gramophone Awards - often called the Oscars of the classical music world - are the most significant honours bestowed on the classical record industry.

2017 Gramophone Award Winners
The category-winners of this year's Gramophone Awards have been announced: among those scooping an award are Matthias Goerne, Joyce DiDonato and Murray Perahia. Recording of the Year goes to Isabelle Faust, Giovanni Antonini and Il Giardino Armonico for their cycle of Mozart's Violin Concertos on Harmonia Mundi.
