The Gramophone Awards - often called the Oscars of the classical music world - are the most significant honours bestowed on the classical record industry.

Now running annually in September you can view details of the most recent winners below, as well as browse through all winners going back the very first awards in 1977.

Gramophone Awards 2017The category-winners of this year's Gramophone Awards have been announced: among those scooping an award are Matthias Goerne, Joyce DiDonato and Murray Perahia. Recording of the Year goes to Isabelle Faust, Giovanni Antonini and Il Giardino Armonico for their cycle of Mozart's Violin Concertos on Harmonia Mundi.
