After making a pre-release appearance at No. 13 in the February chart, Sir Antonio Pappano's new recording of Puccini's Turandot on Warner Classics (using Franco Alfano's complete original ending and starring Sondra Radvanovsky, Jonas Kaufmann & Ermonela Jaho) swept all before it last month, having featured as our Recording of the Week on 10th March and also as Gramophone's March Recording of the Month.
