SFS Media is the record label of the San Francisco Symphony. The San Francisco Symphony has a long history of using new technology to reach audiences and bring classical music to millions around the world. In 2001, it became the first American orchestra to create its own audio/video label which produces radio and TV documentaries alongside the Symphony's CDs and DVDs. Recordings reflect the broad range of the San Francisco Symphony's programming, from the symphonies of Beethoven and Mahler to works by American composers including Adams, Bernstein and Copland.
